Foldermail end-user features
Send large files or complete Windows folders with no size or complexity limit.
Outlook integration - The small Foldermail download integrates into Microsoft Outlook so no learning is required. See the Step by Step guide.
Works in harmony with email - Each foldermail is 'attached' to a normal email, and recipients who do not yet have the Foldermail software are automatically offered it in this email.
Proof of delivery - Foldermails are time and date stamped to provide you with proof of sending and delivery together with full audit logs.
Change the delivery order - Urgent foldermails can be brought to the top of the delivery list and need not be held up by existing transfers. You can also abort and pause deliveries.
Status window - Detailed delivery progress information is provided on all deliveries, for both senders and recipients. If a delivery has not been completed for any reason, you will know.
Alerts - User configurable alerts notify you when delivery completes, or if there is any problem or delay. (Useful for flagging if a delivery is held up, e.g. because the recipient is not logged onto the internet).
Reliable transfer that does not interfere with your other applications - Foldermail can send and receive whenever if there is an Internet connection. But it pauses if other applications are using the connection (such as web browsing or email) so there is no delay. It then continues as soon as your Iinternet connection is idle, e.g. between web pages.
If you are on the move, you can switch off your PC mid-delivery - Foldermail simply continues when the PC is next connected to the Internet.
Foldermail viewer - Displays the foldermail contents, including all files and their properties in all folders. You choose whether to accept the foldermail or not, so you will not receive unwanted data. Or you can choose always to accept deliveries from a particular sender.
Receiving a foldermail is free - Like postage, the sender pays by the total amount of data sent.
